As our first blog post, we'll try to answer the question: What is Darkwood Photography?

First of all, Darkwood Photography is not one person. As you'll see when you look through our galleries, there are numerous styles present. This is because we work with dozens of creative, amazing people - each who brings a unique element to our work. While the core business is run by a small group located just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, the reality is that we leverage the expertise of the other members on many of our shoots.

Second, this website is the public, business-face of that group. Here is where we'll sell our art and services to the general populace. Proceeds from the sales of our art will be split with those who contribute to create it - so every dollar you spend will go towards supporting the creative people who make it possible. This also applies to any commissions or professional projects that come in for the business.
